DIY: Knit your own shopping bag

For the knitters amongst us, EcoStreet points us to a free knitting pattern (requires registration) for making a shopping bag.

To make it even more eco-friendly, why not make it out of bamboo knitting yarn…

    I can’t say that I knit but I do take cloth bags with me wherever I go. Once you get in the habit of doing it it isn’t difficult. I wish more countries would pass a tax like Ireland has.
