As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve just moved into a new apartment. One of the things we’ve found is that the hot water takes an enormous amount of time to kick in, which means the potential for a lot of wasted water.
We also want to put in a half-size dishwasher, as the big one we have we can hardly fill, so we think we can save water there too.
So we’ve decided to get in a “green plumber” - a plumber that is across different methods and products for water efficiency - to check things out and advise us on what we can do to reduce our water consumption.
I found the GreenPlumbers.com.au website a little while ago - but as we were renting didn’t really have the opportunity to check them out. The site contains a form where you can request a quote from a plumber near you - which I’ve just done
I’d love to know if anyone has used a “green plumber” before? Who were they? What was your experience like?
