The other day we mentioned the RIVA all electric vehicle, and the difficulties the importers were facing in getting it tested by the government for safety and other factors because of red tape regarding its classification.

Well, it seems as though they’ve had a win. The Daily Telegraph and Adelaide Now report that the RIVA has been approved for testing by the federal government.

Let’s hope the testing process goes well so we can start seeing RIVA cars on the road soon.
