Terry, i visited your blog and was surprised at the amount of work you have put towards your goals of living sustainably. Well done! Living in Brisbane myself i have found quite a few people like-minded people.
Northey Street City Farm is a great place for learning and meeting people who are interested in sustainability. The farm is a great place to check out and have some lunch.
Another site to check out is Path to Freedom. This site is about the journey of the Dervaes family as they convert their tiny suburban block to produce most of their food and income. While they are based in Los Angeles the site is very inspirational.
