Waterless carwash

Treehugger highlights the ‘No Wet’ Waterless Carwash - which is available in Australia (though I haven’t found out where just yet).

No Wet Australia has been establishing the business over the past few years. Given that many Australian metropolitan and rural cities have imposed water restrictions limiting the volume of water used to clean cars, their timing seems very opportune.

Looks like a good way to reduce water use when washing your car.

Update: Seems you can order the product through the No Wet website.

I have been using a waterless carwash product called sobrilliant for over 2 years now. I clean my car regularly and have saved heaps of water using this product. It is better than using my tank water which I use on my garden. I purchase it online from an Australian website.

Hi Milly the product I use is sprayed on the panel/window/wheel surface and on a microfibre cloth which was supplied in the pack I purchased. I then wipe the cloth over surface. The second cloth they supplied then buffs the surface. Great result every time.
